Hi guys! As President of Teddy Bear Hospital, I’m in charge of setting up all the events, training the Teddy Doctors and making sure everything runs smoothly – with the help of my wonderful committee. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a Teddy Doctor for over 3 years now, and I’ve loved every second of it! My favourite part of being a Teddy Doctor has always been helping out running the stations, and making sure it’s fun and informative for both the kids and myself.

Hi! I’m Alisha C, a Year 5 Medical Student. I’ve loved taking part in TBH events – it’s so much fun! As Vice-President I play a role in organising events, developing new initiatives, communicating with the clinical school, play specialists and other societies and supporting the president with any other jobs that need doing. Feel free to contact me with your ideas, concerns and expectations!

Hi! I’m Maria S, and I’m the Events Liaison for TBH, which means that I contact local schools and organise all our events – so watch this space for tonnes of teddy bear fun this year!
I love being a part of TBH! Seeing the kids leave with a big smile on their faces, and having learnt some really important basic healthcare, is hugely rewarding and enjoyable. So if you’re considering attending one of our events, absolutely do it… you won’t regret it!

Hi! I’m Alisha B, and I am in charge of recruiting the Teddy Doctors. I organise their training, and ensure all Teddy Doctors are DBS checked and have received Child Protection training. This year, I have also made the website. I really love volunteering as a Teddy Doctor! It’s such as rewarding use of my time – TBH teaches children essential skills like how to call an ambulance, whilst being fun and interactive. My favourite part of being a Teddy Doctor is getting to meet the children: their enthusiasm is infectious and it’s always entertaining to find out what’s wrong with their Teddy! Teddy doctors, feel free to contact me!

Hi there! I’m Nick. My role as stations and equipment officer is to plan and make everything run smoothly on the day. What I enjoy most about TBH is definitely the energy on the day, and how a teddy bear makes quite boring or difficult topics so much fun. If you have any suggestions for new ideas feel free to contact me!

Hello all, my name is Maria T and I am Stations & Equipment officer. I love meeting happy, healthy children at Teddy Bear Hospital and showing them that travelling in an ambulance, getting an X-Ray and getting a plaster placed on a broken bone are all part of the hospital experience and that the hospital is a helpful, kind place. Being a teddy doctor is a great way to engage with children and dispel any myths. While working as a teddy doctor I have helped many sick teddy bears, and I enjoy the challenge of putting plaster of Paris onto complicated broken bones like the tail of a dinosaurs and neck of a giraffe!

Hey there, I’m Sarah. My role as treasurer is to make sure there’s enough pocket money in the piggybank to help all your poor teddies to get better! This year, we’re hoping to work with children’s toys companies and clubs to expand the society. If you’re interested in working with us, we’d love to hear from you! To find out more about what we do, check out our Instagram and Facebook pages, and keep your eyes peeled for an exciting welcome to ‘The Teddy Bear Hospital video!

Hi, I’m Teddy. As the TBH teddy bear, I help the committee by coming along to events. I get to meet all the children and their teddies. I really enjoy TBH, as sometimes I’m a bit poorly and the children at TBH help me get better – they perform surgery, interpret my x-rays and put plaster casts on me! I love hearing about your visits to Teddy Bear Hospital, so please send me any drawings and messages at cu.teddybearhospital@gmail.com or by using our contact form.
This summer,I’ve been travelling all over the place with the Teddy Doctors before TBH starts again. You can follow my adventures on Facebook or Instagram!
